Since 1971, Toby’s Trophy Treks has been host to many Iowa FNAWS members. Jamie and Mavis Poole have again donated one of their fantastic black bear hunts in Saskatchewan, Canada. This 5-day hunt typically commences on Monday and ends on Friday, and includes all accommodations in a two-bedroom guest house filled with many hunting trophies. Also included are home-cooked meals and transportation to/from Saskatoon airport. Hunts are conducted over bait when bears move the most during the morning and evenings. Approximately 30% of the bears are color-phased. Success in the past has been over 90% with 100% opportunity, and they boast over an 80% return customer base, which proves their dedication to their hunters. Please note that this is for two hunters; either a parent/child or a husband/wife. After the bear hunting is over, if time permits, fishing may be available on an 18 ft Crestliner at no additional charge. As an added bonus, depending on the dates, hunters may be able to add waterfowl hunting for an additional fee.
